I usually dress my greyhound Pani for our rescue group's fall picnic. But the last few events I was always busy helping at group's consignment shop or with my own products. So these are just Pani's most memorable costumes from the past:

But, I need to understand the bandages one??? LOL
I want to get a baby gate for my front door, so that we can all great the trick or treaters and not have the dogs run out at them and scare the little kids. Is that what you did?
Yes, it was a baby gate, decorated with streamers, lights and such. You may want to skip decorations so the Gs can see through it. Pani can see above the gate and people can reach and pet her.
As far as costume, well, as I said - I'm not really sure myself. It was a sort of tribute to dog rescue volunteers, kinda "you have to be slightly mental to do this". Pani was a mental patient in a strait jacket, "brain floss" ears and hat with a propeller ;) It didn't really fit any category in costume contest. But we got a prize for "most creative" :)
