Angel's favorite space is, "Anywhere Mom is!" Her bed is in the sewing/computer room, so she spends alot of time there since I do too.

Boudreaux
Boudreaux's favorite space is on the back of the couch. He's able to see out the window from there and barks at everyone (man or beast) who walks by our house. He's also able to guard the front door and take a nap at the same time. (He's our own personal alarm system, so burglers BEWARE!!!)

Jeff is our surprise addition to our house having come along in his mom's belly when we adopted her in March. He is now four months old, and although he was only 18 days old in this picture, he is still very fond of little boxes, bags, oatmeal containers or whatever his chubby little body will fit in!

This is my computer chair that I sit in waiting for my turn at the computer that often never comes. (Hint hint Mommy!) In this photo, my big brother Charlie joined me for moral support. You would think with both of us looking this cute Mommy would give up the computer. But, she didn't. Mean Mommy.

Yeh-Bbi

Yeh-Bbi (means "pretty" in Korean), a Shih Tzu. Her favorite spot is on the ottoman that we keep in front of the sofa. She likes feeling like a princess on a pedestal.

Daphne

Daphne, a Beagle. Her favorite stop is on the back pillow of the sofa. She says "If it is good enough for people than it is good enough for me."

Chilly

Chilly, a Chiweenie. Her favorite spot is not on her bed but in it. Anything to keep her warm and cozy.

Attached is Felix in his "Graveyard of Lost Toys". This little nutball takes all his toys and hides them under the kitchen table. No one else is allowed under there and none of Kolchak's toys can be under there either. That is Felix's special place. *sigh* My dog is a hoarder.

September Pet Photo Contest - My Space

Since I've been working so hard on decluttering my house, and my kids are both moving and Velvet is squished in her little corner that she loves to sleep in, I thought this would be an appropriate, fun (and easy) theme for this month. I think most pets tend to stake claim to some part of the house. Velvet has her bed, Frau has her fabric shopping bag (which she pulls toys into to sleep with, lol) and Julia has her blanket. This is Velvet laying in her favorite sunbeam. She loves the feeling of the warm sun shining down on her. Show us your furbaby's living space or favorite spot(s). Add some words to be posted with their pic to go along with the theme.



We welcome all pets: dogs, cats, birds, gerbils, hamsters, geckos, chickens, frogs, turtles, snakes, pigs, horses, just to name a few.

Also, the Saturday Pet Bloggers Hop community is sponsoring a "Pay It Forward Pet Bloggers Blog Hop" today where the participants blog about what in the world of pets each person is most passionate about. My passion actually fit with this month's contest theme. I would love for EVERY furbaby to find a home. To me, Petfinder.com and the Petfinders Foundation do an excellent job of introducing us to all of the wonderful animals who are in need of a home. SO, for every entry we receive in our pet photo contest, I will post a link to a furbaby in need of a human. Then, I would ask everyone to tweet, facebook, blog, or whatever form of promotion that is at your disposal, the post to bring greater attention to the homeless.
