Contestant #21

Miss Madelaine May

"Maddie (aka Miss Madelaine May) is a beagle/German shepherd mix. Although she is 14 years old, she's still full of energy, loves to play, and go for walks. Winter is her favorite season; she bounces around like a puppy whenever it snows. She strongly believes that it is her life's mission to bark at any squirrel - real or imaginary - in a 5-block radius."

Ood Sigma

"This is Sigma. More specifically, Ood Sigma. He's a hairless Dumbo rat, and probably one of the most awesome pets I've ever had. Be loved Cheetos, as you can see in the photo. He would sit in my lap for hours, only coming out to grab whatever snack he was being offered, then he'd run right back! He was a very special boy, and even people who hated rats loved him. He passed last week, on Tuesday, and he's greatly missed. He may not appeal to everyone, and most might not find him as cute as the other entries, but I think he's adorable! There's so much personality that isn't captured in the photo.

I apologize if I'm being a downer, he was just such a great boy, and loved so very much, that after thinking about it, it wouldn't be fair for me to not at least share him with everyone else! A happy point in all of this is that yesterday, my boyfriend brought home 2 hairless boys as my Valentine's Day gift! They're adorable, and one of them thinks he's meant to hang out on your shoulder. The other's personality hasn't come out yet, and neither of them have told me what their names should be! Poor boys! They won't replace Sigma, no one ever will, but they make me smile and help to heal. "

Chester and Maya

"These are my two kitties, Chester (in the front) and his sister Maya. I "trapped" them almost four years ago and we couldn't ask for better cats. I caught Chester two weeks before Maya and it took less than a week to spoil him rotten. He wasn't too thrilled when his sister showed up and was so jealous after she accepted us. They still have their moments but spend most of their time cuddling."
